This portrait series captures the essence of Black masculinity, challenging stereotypes and celebrating the duality of strength and gentleness. Photographed in natural light against a white backdrop, each image highlights the raw authenticity and individuality of the men—true gentlemen often misunderstood due to their hard exterior. Their choice of attire and accessories adds a personal layer to the narrative, emphasizing their identity and humanity beyond societal perceptions. This series is an ongoing project in which I hope to compile 50 portraits into a book along with a short film.
